Tamir Shefer
Tamir Shefer, a graduate of “Bezalel”, works as an artist, designer and illustrator in Israel and around the world.
He worked in creative management in interactive companies in Israel and around the world and lectures in the visual communication department at HIT Holon Institute of Technology.
The excess in Shefer’s works is an expression of the excess of the postmodern era. This excess combines with familiar symbols and icons into a meditative experience that criticizes society subconsciously.
His illustrations were regularly published in magazines and newspapers such as Globes, Yedioth Ahronoth, Ma’ariv, Ha’ir, The Village Voice in New York, San Francisco Bay Guardian, Publish, and more.
His works have been presented in many exhibitions in galleries and museums, private and collective, in Israel and around the world.
