Shade Twafra, born in 1983, lives in Kfar Ma’ar.

Twafra often paints himself or imaginary characters and lifes, which carry a cultural, symbolic and autobiographical baggage.
The characters express storms and mood swings alongside childlike naivety.
They deal with origin, diversity, the environment and rejecting violence in all its forms

The charcoal color appears in most of his works and he also likes to incorporate unconventional techniques such as the use of black coffee.

observe and sail through his thoughts.
