Dubi Ronen
Born in 1964 in Israel, is an artist, designer, and maker based in Israel.
His practice bridges art and design, focusing on geometric forms, structures, and materiality through a contemporary, minimalist visual language.
Ronen holds an M.Des. in Integrated Design and a degree in Industrial Design from HIT and Tel Aviv University.
His work has been exhibited in galleries and art fairs in Israel and internationally, including Fresh Paint, Art Central Hong Kong, Art Miami, and Palm Beach Modern + Contemporary, as well as solo exhibitions in Tel Aviv.
Ronen sees art as a space for pause and reflection within the fast pace of life. His practice explores the relationship between art and material, incorporating industrial and construction materials such as concrete, iron, aluminum, stone, and wood. He transforms the canvas from a two-dimensional surface into a three-dimensional structure, combining raw, solid materials with delicate drawn lines. His works also incorporate geometric symbols and invented script, creating an abstract visual language shaped by rhythm, structure, texture, and memory.
