Gil Zablodovsky
Gil Zablodovsky is a multidisciplinary artist based in Bat Yam, Israel, whose work resides at the intersections of sensory experience, human communication, and space. Utilizing video art, sound, and installation, he explores themes of presence, image, and collective memory, crafting visual and emotional experiences defined by striking precision and restraint.
As a co-founder of the “Grosso Modo” artists’ collective, Zablodovsky operates through a constant affinity between matter, sound, and consciousness. His works serve as a bridge between adjacent artistic fields—poetry, music, and design—creating site-specific spaces where simple materials acquire a new, charged presence. For Zablodovsky, art is a realm of research and communication, where sound, light, and matter are not separate elements but a single, unified language of human experience.
Zablodovsky holds a B.Ed.Des in Visual Communication and Education (Kibbutzim College) and an M.Des in Integrated Design (HIT). His works have been exhibited at leading museums and festivals worldwide, including the Jewish Museum Berlin and New York, the Zebra Festival in Germany, and prominent galleries in Tel Aviv.
