Every photographer has a story to tell. I invite you to meet the woman behind the lens.
I am a twin who’s also a Gemini. A woman of both. Has a bachelor’s degree in economics and business administration and a master’s degree in marketing, and I’m certified as a coach for personal and business development.
Years of working in the business world brought me satisfaction, but nothing gave me a sense of fulfillment, a feeling of true and simple happiness like photography.
Tools I acquired from my training as a trainer were “borrowed” to my camera grips. The ability to distinguish between the main and the minor, the choice of what to focus on, the empowerment of the present.
As a twin, I have always sought my own personal path. A unique way to express myself in a way that will be different from others.
If you take two people, put the same camera in their hands, in front of the same object and ask them to take a picture- The result will never be the same. This is what drew me most to the world of photography. The ability to express myself, my inner world consisting of my experiences, my point of view, my values, my habits, my loves. To express through the camera what the eye sees, what the heart feels. Everything I know comes from a true passion for the camera. I am a self-taught photographer who believes in continuous learning through trial, error and sometimes wondering. As a photographer, I capture moments in time, details that most people pass by without noticing. Irving Penn once said – “A good photograph is one that communicates a fact, touches the heart and leaves the viewer a slightly different person thanks to the one who viewed it”. Photography takes you on a journey. Teaches you to be grateful, to recognize the transience of time, to cherish the moment. During the journey you discover that those around you have not changed, what has changed is you. “Telling stories through the lens”, that’s what they call me. “In your photography, so they say, there is more than meets the eye. It is full of meaning, thought-provoking, reminiscing, touching, different and colorful even when presented in black and white. Your personality and optimism towards life are reflected in your work and leave us viewers with a sense of familiarity, a feeling that we know you.” Nice to meet you.
