Kim Tkatch, born in Dnepropetrovsk, Ukraine, in 1963, is an Israeli artist who lives and works in Tel Aviv. He graduated from the Kiev State Institute of Fine Arts and immigrated to Israel in 1992. Throughout his career, he has exhibited extensively in Israel and internationally, including in the United States, Germany, France, Switzerland, and Ukraine.
Tkatch explores reality through color, form, volume, and perspective. Rather than reproducing reality, he seeks to encounter it anew — as a living, constantly changing space where matter, consciousness, and movement meet. His works move between the tangible and the abstract, inviting a different way of experiencing reality and the human condition.
