Darryl Erez-Hutchison
Born in Belfast, Northern Ireland 1976.
Graduated from Edinburgh College of Art in Scotland. Hutchison met his Israeli wife in Mexico, and after an exchange program at Bezalel School of Art and Design, he moved to Israel.
His work revolves around transitions, disconnection, displacement and migration – a tangled web of identities made up of geographical and cultural boundaries.
His current focus on the fractured urban landscape of his adoptive state reflects on the unpredictable, the past, the future and what the true meaning of ‘home’.
