An artistic photographer and lecturer since 2005. Founder of Indie gallery of Photography. Taught in numerous art and photography schools and exhibits his artworks in Israel and abroad.

Graduated from Sapir College (photography and media department 2004, film department 2009), as well as MA in art studies from TAU 2015.

In his artistic research, Gam Hacohen deals with observing the limitations of photography as a medium in current times. His artworks rise questions relating to the relations between the eye and the mind, as well as the influence of digital culture on the photography medium today.
